Mollydooker Wines - Sip It Forward
Story
When I did the one mile walk last year in McLaren Vale, I noticed Jock in his lycra (you couldn't miss it!) and I asked Danielle Bayard from Hutt Street Centre, "What's he up to?". She told me that he was part of the Willunga Wanderers that were walking from Willunga to Hutt Street in a big effort to raise funds for the homeless. Inspired as I was, I said to myself, "I'm going to do that next year..." not even thinking about how difficult it might be or how long it will take (8 hours). I just knew in my heart, this was something I had to do.
In 2009, Sparky and I started a program called Sip it Forward where part of our profits were dedicated to helping others less fortunate. We now educate 300 street kids in Cambodia, support 20 abused young women in the U.S. and faithfully support Hutt Street Centre here in South Australia.
We are so lucky to live in this beautiful state, and it saddens me to see the homeless with their trolleys living on the streets. Please join me in supporting this awesome initiative to help the homeless get back on their feet.
Sip it Forward,
Sarah
